The National Defense Authorization Act P.L.112-81 allows the military to hold any suspected terrorists indefinitely on US soil without due process (i.e. a trial). The Due Process Guarantee Act S.2003 clarifies that American citizens arrested in the USA can not be held indefinitely by the military.
If you’re not an American citizen or are an American traveling abroad… Be wary. :p
